Libyan Presidential Council President Menfi called on the Government of National Unity Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dabaiba to provide an explanation regarding a meeting between Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush and Israeli foreign minister Eli Cohen, Al Wasat reported.
In a letter to Dabaiba seen by Alwasat on Sunday, Menfi said the meeting between Mangoush and Cohen “does not reflect the foreign policy of the Libyan state,” and is “a violation of Libyan laws that criminalize normalization with the Zionist entity.”
