Maaloul: “My family is happy in Egypt and feels very comfortable living here”

After the official announcement of the renewal of his contract, Tunisian international defender Ali Maaloul gave an exclusive interview for the official website of his Egyptian club Al Ahly to confirm his contract renewal.
Maaloul said: “Thank God for renewing my contract with Al Ahly club, I am pleased to take this step. The negotiations were easy, I didn’t waver to agree to stay at the club. The signing has been delayed due to the team’s commitments during the last period, as well as participation with the Tunisian national team ”.
 
Maaloul talked about his relationship with the club president: “My relationship with captain Mahmoud Khatib is like that of a father and his son, and it is founded on friendship and respect, and he has a great place in my heart.
 
Concerning his relationship with his South African coach, he said: “Pitso Mosimane is a capable technical director, and he knows all the big and small of the continent, and his experiences in the Egyptian league have grown during the season in course, and he knows each player’s capabilities and is good at communicating with everyone, and we hope we will be successful together.
 
He ended the interview by expressing: “I hope that the great fans of the club will continue to support us as we have done and that we will succeed in making them pleased by winning championships and I say to them: Ali Maaloul is ahlawy until 2024.
