The Anti-Narcotics Directorate in Gorjani, with the help of the regional anti-narcotics unit in Sfax, conducted a comprehensive operation targeting drug trafficking. The raid resulted in the apprehension of 25 suspects, including 3 women, believed to be implicated in the illegal trade.
This operation was conducted following the approval from the prosecution of the first instance courts of Sfax 1 and Sfax 2. The campaign was designed to target multiple drug traffickers, according to a report by Mosaïque.
During the operation, authorities seized 300 grams of cocaine, significant quantities of cannabis, electronic scales, drug-cutting tools, a considerable number of narcotic tablets, motorcycles utilized for drug transportation, and substantial amounts of money derived from the drug trade.
