During his visit to Monaco from February 21 to 23, 2024, for the 4th Bilateral Foreign Affairs Commission, Nabil Ammar, the Tunisian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, was hosted at a working lunch by the Minister of State and President of the Government Council of the Principality of Monaco Pierre Dartout.
At this meeting, both sides reaffirmed their government’s commitment to continuing the tradition of exchange and cooperation that has been established since the 1990s, especially through the dialogue framework set by the Framework Cooperation Agreement concluded in 2008.
Voicing his commitment to upholding Tunisia’s status as a privileged partner of Monegasque cooperation, Ammar voiced Tunisia’s eagerness to enhance its partnership with the Principality of Monaco. He underscored areas of mutual interest such as fighting climate change and its adverse effects on water resources and agriculture.
The Monegasque Minister of State, Dartout, expressed his appreciation for the convening of this fourth session of the bilateral commission, which underscores Monaco’s special interest in its friendship and partnership with Tunisia. He conveyed his government’s willingness to expand collaboration with Tunisia further.
