Morocco-Vandals Desecrate Memorial of late PM Abderrahmane Youssoufi in Tangier

After the death of Morocco’s former Prime Minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi, vandals have dishonoured his memory by defiling his memorial in Tangier. the Morocco World News reports 

On July 30, 2019, King Mohammed VI inaugurated Abderrahmane Youssoufi Avenue in downtown Tangier as a tribute to PM bderrahmane Youssoufi. The avenue marker now stands as a monument after Youssoufi’s passing. 

Upon the official news of his death on Friday, grievers in Tangier paid tribute to the beloved Moroccan politician with flowers, candles, and words of remembrance at the avenue marker. 

According to the news outlet, Sunday morning, nevertheless, photos emerged on social media networks exposing the memorial defiled with what appears to be faeces.
