The Muslim Brotherhood organization condemned, in a statement released on Tuesday, the arrest of Ennahdha leader Rached Ghannouchi, calling for his immediate release.
The Muslim Brotherhood “condemns the arrest of a symbol of thought and politics who is over 80 years old. And above all, during Iftar time in the holy month of Ramadan. This is a new crime that is added to the blacklist of those who have turned against the will of their people.”
