Former Ennahdha member Imed Hammami, considered this Friday, September 22, 2023, that the Ennahdha movement Rached Ghannouchi, and political Islam are finished.
Hammami acknowledged on the airwaves of a private radio that “the current disputes within the movement are a question that does not concern Tunisians (…) There is something more significant, such as the 2024 Finance Law for example, the options presented to the government of Ahmed Hachani and the local elections (…).
He affirmed that “the Tunisian state is attentive to everything that occurs and guarantees all the rights of Tunisians and national security (…) I have great confidence in the judicial system”.
