According to an opinion poll by CNN, only 27% of Israelis aged 18 to 37 think that “the military response to Hamas attacks is justified.”
This rate rises to reach 44% for the 35-49 age group and 56% for the 56-64 age group.
But for Israelis aged over 65, that is to say, those who have witnessed wars the most among the Israeli population, 87% of respondents think that “the military response to Hamas attacks is justified”.
