Pfizer Inc. stated on Monday the company would continue delivering medicines to Russia, however stopping planned new investments and clinical trials in the country due to Moscow’s “special operation” in Ukraine.
“Ending delivery of medicines, including cancer or cardiovascular therapies, would cause significant patient suffering and potential loss of life,” Pfizer claimed, explaining that the deliveries could be negatively affected by the western sanctions imposed on Russia.
Pfizer, which doesn’t own any manufacturing capacities in Russia, added it would donate all profits collected at the Russian market to the people of Ukraine.
