After the defeat of Al-Sailiya against Qatar Club 1-2, on the 3rd day of Qatar Super League (QSL), Tunisian coach Sami Trabelsi resigned from his post.
This lapse is the second in 3 games played, after the first failure against Al Gharrafa on the same score on the first day.
Trabelsi has posted on his FaceBook account: “After years of work in a team that has become my family, I declare my withdrawal from the training of Al Sailiya Club. The decision was not easy, but I believe it is time to put an end to this historic process, during which I lived among officials who believed in the team’s capacities. “
He thanked all the officials of the club chaired by Abdullah al-Aida, before continuing: “Throughout these seasons, I was keen to assist the team and I was sincere in my work, and thanks to the efforts of all the members of the club, we acquired historical results that made the club one of the teams that contributed strongly in the League ”.
