Russia confirms recording first Omicron cases

Russia’s Health Minister Mikhail Murashko confirmed on Saturday the country registered the first cases of the Omicron coronavirus variant in the country from people coming from abroad.

Murashko also said that the Health Ministry is already developing new recommendations about treating patients infected with the Omicron mutation.
