Russian Ambassador to UN Calls Flooding of G-a-z-a Tunnels Genocide

The permanent representative of Russia to the United Nations (UN), Vassili Nebenzia, has made a firm view, referring to the flooding of tunnels in Gaza as a potential genocide. This statement comes amid rising tensions in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Nebenzia also slammed the United States and its allies, accusing them of contributing to the spread of the Gaza conflict throughout the region. Furthermore, he denounced Israel’s indiscriminate use of force in the Gaza Strip, describing it as a blatant violation of international law.

The Russian ambassador stressed the urgency for the UN Security Council to resume consideration of the situation in Gaza and to demand a ceasefire in the region. These statements underscore the growing international concern about the escalation of hostilities and the humanitarian impact of the crisis on Palestinian civilians.

Russia’s stance underlines the complexity of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and emphasizes the need for international intervention and mediation to achieve a peaceful and lasting solution. The situation in Gaza continues to be a contentious issue within the international community, with increasing calls for action to end the violence and alleviate suffering
