Tunisia-113 more local coronavirus infections ,death toll hits 60

The Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that as of August 18, 2020, 113 more coronavirus contaminations have been reported, bringing the tally of infections to 2,427.

In its daily periodical, the ministry indicated that out of a total of 1,710 tests carried out, including 81 as part of the follow-up of former patients, 161 tests were positive. This involves 105 local cases, 8 imported cases and 48 previous cases.

The  Ministry reported  1,395 cases of recovery, 60 deaths and 972 cases still carrying the virus under medical monitoring, including 26 hospitalisations and 8 cases admitted to intensive care.
