Tunisia- 17 new cases of COVID-19, including 2 domestic

The Health Ministry announced 17 cases of contamination with COVID-19 as of August 4, 2020, including 2 domestic, bringing the total number of infections to 1,601.

According to the ministry, 1578 tests were carried out, 65 of which within the framework of follow-up of former patients.

57 tests came out positive: 17 more cases (2 domestic and 15 imported) and 40 among previously infected people.

Cases of recovery reached 1233. The number of patients who died from COVID-19 is 51 and active cases stand at 317 subject of follow-up, including 9 hospitalised.
