Tunisia-200 million euros of Italian fundinf for Tunisian SMEs

On January 15, 2021, the Council of Ministers approved a draft decree linking to the memorandum of understanding concluded on June 16, 2021, in Rome between the Government of the Republic of Tunisia and that of the Italian Republic for the period 2021-2023.

This protocol gives access to Italian financial support of 200 million euros (150 million euros in credit and 50 million euros in the form of donations). This financing will make it likely to replenish the line of credit in favour of Tunisian SMEs.

The purpose of this funding is to relaunch the engines of socio-economic growth, expand human capital, promote rational and sustainable management of resources and back innovation with a view to repositioning Tunisia on international markets.
