A repatriation aircraft with 250 Tunisians onboard arriving from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia landed at the Djerba-Zarzis International Airport on Wednesday night.
The passengers were subjected to national health measures approved to battle the spread of COVID-19. The passengers were then brought to hotels for mandatory health isolation.
Djerba Island currently accommodates 900 persons settled in mandatory isolation. 109 Tunisians who came from Brussels, have completed their isolation period with the recording of a single infection case with COVID-19. Coming from Saudi Arabia, 238 persons are now continuing their mandatory isolation period, till May 3.
