9000 soldiers were laid off since the revolution, including 2,000 in the past four years, Mosaique FM reports.
These removals were decided either for professional misconduct or for disciplinary reasons including the consumption of cannabis.
As for the very few soldiers who had connection with smugglers or terrorists, they were all suspended as a precautionary measure, before being brought before the military court or the judicial anti-terrorism pole.
