A 7-year-old girl did not return to school since Novemrnbt of last year after being verbally and physically assaulted by her teacher, said a mother from Sfax in a declaration to Tunisie Numérique.
The mother said that they sued the accused teacher, indicating that her young girl was initially subjected to verbal abuse wish left enormous psychological damage that made her refuse to go to school. The mother said that her daughter also suffered bruises on her left shoulder which forced the parents to seek The Child Protection Office who ordered to transfer the child to another class and seek therapy.
Despite being transferred teachers protested after the winter vacation to request the child return to her original classroom.
