The central and regional services for the prevention of terrorism and the teams of the anti-terrorism directorate of the National Guard succeeded, between 11 and 20 September 2020, in uncovering 73 elements linked to terrorist organizations not identified at the security level and in arresting 44 wanted (including 19 elements involved in terrorist cases).
National Guard units from the various governorates of the country have, as part of the fight against Takfiri elements and seeking to prevent terrorist crimes and ensure the monitoring of their members, have discovered 5 terrorist cells distributed between Bizerte, Ben Arous , Sidi Bouzid, Sousse and Béja.
