Tunisia-A Tunisian joins the National Academy of Engineering

Professor Khaled Ben  Letaief has been elected one of the 23 new international members of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE).

Dr Ben Letaief is an internationally distinguished leader in wireless communications and networks with a research interest in artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, big data analytics systems, tactile Internet, and 5G systems and beyond.  He has published over 620 journal and conference papers with over 35,000 citations.

He possesses 15 patents, including 11 US inventions and served as consultants for different organizations including Huawei, ASTRI, ZTE, Nortel, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Motorola.

By becoming members, Mr Letaief exceptional contribution to research, engineering and new technologies are now internationally recognized
