The chairperson of the Shura Council of Ennahda Movement, Abdelkarim Harouni stressed that President Kais Siaed tasked a figure to form a government for all Tunisians. Harouni invited Prime minster designate Elyes Fakhfakh to widen the broad of negotiations with parties to form his cabinet, indicating that wasn’t his place to choose who will join the ranks of the oppositions.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the Shura Council president asserted that PM Fakhfakh shouldn’t drive his power from a president who enjoys widespread popularity. He pointed out that he should seek the needed popularity from the parliament by succeeding to grain the vote of confidence.
When asked if the Ennahda Movement will join the ranks of the opposition,he replied that all options are on the table.
