Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,Political analyst Abdellatif Hannachi confirmed that the President of the Republic, Kais Saied does not plan to react favourably to calls for revision of the electoral calendar, believing that the latter only does what appears good to him. Our speaker declared that the Head of State not only established a national authority without consulting anyone but he had no intention of listening to anyone wondering about the presence of advisers to the President of the Republic.
Hannnechi said that even the members of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) who were designated by the Head of State, one of them highlighted the need to revise the electoral calendar. The political analyst confirmed that Kais Saied will resist calls for a revision of the said calendar and will still execute the program he has set himself from the start.
