The Tunis 1 court of first instance officially ruled to dismiss the complaint lodged by the Free Destourian Party “PDL” against the International Union of Muslim Scholars, with the intention of preventing its activity in Tunisia, spokesperson for the tribunal of first instance of Tunis 1 Mohsen Daly announced.
Previously, the PDL president Abir Moussi had filed, on November 2, 2020, a complaint to the first vice-president of the Court of First Instance of Tunis 1, accompanied by many lawyers as well as the president of the branch of the National Order lawyers from Tunis, after the rejection of the judge in charge of the case to authenticate the “takfirist statements” directed against them by the union’s lawyer.
