Tunisia-Algeria closes borders with Tunisia:Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarifies

The Tunisian foreign ministry responded on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, to the news that Algeria has decreed the closure of its borders with Tunisia.
In a released statement, the department stated the Algerian side had ensured that this measure was part of the strengthening of preventive measures taken in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
This decision does not affect only Tunisia but applies to all nations, particularly those that share borders with Algeria.
