The prosecution at the Ariana Court of First Instance authorized agents of the Ariana North judicial police division to apprehend four people among the most dangerous criminal elements who are wanted in Greater Tunis, due to the issuance of dozens of wanted notices against them, knowing that one of them employs the identity of a security agent in his travels.
Available data indicates that the suspects are implicated in dozens of serious crimes, such as violent robbery, attempted premeditated murder, robbery of residential and commercial premises, drug trafficking and hijacking under threat of a weapon.
According to the same data, more than seventy search warrants were issued against the suspects, in addition to prison sentences in absentia. Units from the Ariana North National Security District were able to arrest them and seize an arsenal of bladed weapons in their possession.
By bringing the suspects before the Ariana Magistrate’s Court, committal warrants were issued against them, whether as part of inquiries published against them or to execute judgments rendered in absentia against them.
