Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, under-secretary-general of the General Union of Tunisian workers (UGGT) Sami Tahri said that it was agreed with the minister of defence and the president of the republic to dispatch a medical team from the defence ministry in order to set up a field treatment in Beja on Friday,16, October 2020.
Overseeing an emergency administrative body for the union, Mr Tahri disclosed that the centre will be set up in one of the closed spaces to accommodate people with COVID-19. Moreover, it will include artificial respiration beds and will enable the number of rapid analyzes to increase.
