Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,the regional education delegate Mohamed Foued Tayeb presented explanations on the start of the vaccination campaign for the profit of teachers.
Tayeb stated a meeting took place last Friday in the attendance of officials from the regional health directorate in Béja.
According to him, it was resolved to create a COVID-19 circuit devoted to teachers within the regional vaccination centre of Beja (Maison des Jeunes).
According to Tayeb, this will provide teachers immediate access to the centre to receive doses of the vaccine.
Announcing that teachers’ vaccination will begin next Wednesday, the official reported that nearly 200 teachers will be inoculated every day.
He added that all educational staff, who hope to have the doses of the vaccine, will be vaccinated in 10 days from May 26, 2021.
