Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,Mohamed Ammar affirmed that the decision of the President of the Republic, Kais Saied relating to the extension of the exceptional measures taken on July 25, 2021 was foreseeable given that the courts are closed (vacation period judicial).
Mohamed Ammar stated that the courts must resume their duties as soon as possible to review pending cases, particularly civil cases. September will be crucial for dealing with a large number of files linked to politicians and MPs, said Mohamed Ammar.
The President of the Republic is confronted with a dilemma: either clean up the Parliament of all the deputies who have proceeded to the protection of individuals implicated in corruption cases in different sectors or dissolve the Parliament, suspend the Constitution, organize a referendum and set texts in place to organize the public authorities on a provisional basis.
