Tunisia-[Audio]: Nothing in the constitution prevents a cabinet reshuffle

Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Constitutional law expert Abderrazzek Mokhtar affirmed that nothing in the constitution prevents a cabinet reshuffle. Nevertheless, these changes have all in the past been made after a parliamentary approval, making them seem to be some sort of constitutional custom.

Mr Mokhtar also repeated that this partial modification of the administration remains necessary today following the removal of the ministers of the environment and cultural affairs. In this regard, he communicated his bewilderment at leaving these positions vacant in such a special context.

The specialist also referred to the warrant of committal issued against Nabil Karoui. He estimated that this news should be taken into consideration during this reshuffle.
