The Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) decided, during its meeting on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, to lower the key interest rate of the Central Bank of Tunisia by 50 basis points to bring it down to 6, 25%.
The BCT justified its decision by the desire to contribute to the establishment of favourable conditions to revive investment and restore the pace of economic activity while preserving financial stability.
