The governorate of Beje recorded in 48 hours 14 deaths and 325 new infections from the coronavirus according to the latest update of the epidemiological situation in the region.
According to the same source, the death toll reached 425 while 13,730 infections have been reported in the governorate since the start of the pandemic.
On the other hand, the bed occupancy rate surpassed its maximum capacity by 122% (164 Covid-19 patients admitted to hospitals).
