Tunisia-Beja: shortage of sugar will be overcomed by the end of the week

Regional Director of Commerce in Béja  Yosri Dameri confirmed that the shortage of sugar which led to the quasi-halt of the activities of a certain number of factories in Goubellat and Béja is about to be overcome by the end of the week.

In a statement to the TAP agency, Damergi stated that the sugar supply of soft drinks and pastry factories is carried out at a progressive rate, stating that points of sale are likewise powered by this commodity.

Dameri  said that the quantities of sugar injected into the market correspond to a regional consumption lasting one month, indicating that supplementary sugar quantities will be provided, in addition to the production of the Tunisian Sugar Society in Béja.
