Tunisia – Belhaj: Saïed has set up his provisional CSM to be able to settle scores with his adversaries

The executive director of the Al Amal party, Ridha Belhaj, confirmed that the President of the Republic, Kaïs Saïed, dissolved the CSM and set up a provisional body, to have full control over justice.

He added that the new regulations of the provisional CSM authorise the President of the Republic to manage the transfers of magistrates as he pleases.

Belhaj said that in this way, Saïed will be capable to get rid of the magistrates who are not on his side and putting others who are committed to him, to be able to bring cases to justice for his adversaries and that he will begin by Noureddine Bhiri.
