The director of preventive health in Ben Arous, Fathi Letaief announced on Thursday that 5 patients have died from the coronavirus in the region during the past 48 hours.
Talking to the TAP Agency, he said that the region has recorded 98 new cases, including 11 cases imported that are placed in the compulsory confinement centre of Borj Cédria.
According to the same source, the number of infected in schools reached 53 cases distributed as follows: teachers (33 cases), primary school students (4 cases), college students (6 cases) and high school students (10 cases).
