The regional director of trade in Bizerte, Sami Bejaoui revealed that 430 thousand litres of subsidized vegetable oil were injected into the local market.
Speaking to the TAP agency, he said that the distribution operation of 21 thousand litres of oil was overseen by the economic control units for a fair distribution between all the delegations and the localities of the governorate, remarking that the Second post-distribution control measure is carried out to stop speculation practices.
Note that, from August and until the 18th of the same month, the economic control agents in Bizerte have managed to seize 1,137 litres of subsidized vegetable oil in uncontrolled circuits and recorded 14 economic offences which particularly concern speculation and refusal to sell.
