Tunisia-Breaking news: 116 new coronavirus cases and Three new deaths

 The ministry of health announced on Thursday that as of August 19, 2020, 116 more coronavirus cases have been reported, bringing the tally of infections to 2543.

In its daily periodical, the ministry indicated that out of a total of 2107  tests carried out, including 34 as part of the follow-up of former patients, 133 tests were positive. This involves 97  local cases, 19  imported cases and 17  previous cases.

The  Ministry reported  1397  cases of recovery, 63 deaths and 1083 cases still carrying the virus under medical monitoring, including 36 hospitalisations and 6 cases admitted to intensive care.
