The Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that as of August 21, 2020, 131 more coronavirus infections have been recorded. The death toll rose to 68 after reporting four new deaths
In its daily bulletin on the epidemic situation in the country, the ministry indicated that out of a total of 2007 tests carried out, including 60 in the framework of the follow-up of former patients, 131 tests were positive. These include 124 domestic cases, 7 imported cases and 17 cases already carrying the virus.
Since the opening of borders on June 27, 2020, 1535 cases of coronavirus infections have been recorded, including 475 imported cases, 1535 local cases and 18 deaths.
37 patients are currently hospitalized, including 9 cases admitted to intensive care.
