Tunisia-Breaking news: 21 new coronavirus cases, including 18 local and One new death in 24 hours

Out of 976 COVID-19 tests carried out, including 29 in the framework of the follow-up of active cases, 23 came out positive, the Health Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday. They include 21 new cases of which 18 are local infections,3 are a new imported case and 2 previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus”.The evaluation also revealed a new death, bringing the death tally to 52.
The overall confirmed cases have consequently reached 1738  from a total of 106332 tests carried out since the outbreak of the pandemic last March.
The overall assessment reveals 1272 recoveries, 52 deaths and 414 active cases, including 16 hospitalised.

The Health Ministry stated that all active cases have been kept in specialised quarantine centres.
