Tunisia-Breaking news: Immunity lifted from First President of the Court of Cassation Taïeb Rached

The Judicial Judicial Council ruled, in its session held today on November 24, 2020, to consign the Public Prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Tunisia with the content of the leaks from suspicions of crimes associated to the cases of martyrs Chokri Belaid
and Mohamed Brahmi and to furthermore notify the Council of the measures that will be taken, such as the general inspection correspondence with the Ministry of Justice to give the results of research on all complaints filed against both Taïeb Rached and Bachir Akrami within a maximum deadline of two weeks.

Likewise ,the council decided to lift immunity on the First President of the Court of Cassation Taïeb Rached.
