On Tuesday night, the Ministry of Health declared the existence of 4 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infected people in the nation to 1022.
The ministry stressed in a statement, “Following a total of 312 lab tests, 12 cases tested positive, of which 4 were new cases and 8 were previously confirmed cases who were still infected with this virus. Moreover,497 are still carrying the virus and are currently are under monitoring.
The death toll from the novel coronavirus in Tunisia has reached 43 until now while recoveries jumped to 482.
The same source added that 17 are placed in the intensive care unit while 36 are hospitalized.
