Tunisia Health ministry stated on Sunday that 1762 people tested positive for coronavirus since yesterday. Since the beginning of the outbreak, 156,276 cases were confirmed.
During the same period, the death toll climbed 62 563 to stand at 5215. Meanwhile, 1157 have recovered in the last 24 hours, taking the recovery tally to 117,701.
1702 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalised of whom 358 are in ICU and 127 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
