43 more coronavirus fatalities and 614 infections from 3912 screening tests conducted on March 8 were reported, announced the Health Ministry on Tuesday night.
The death toll hence reached hit 8.268 while the infection tally reached 238.613 cases, including 205,176 recoveries following the recovery of 2182 further persons, according to the same source.
1,074 hospitalisations were recorded on the same date, including 273 in intensive care units and 91 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
