Tunisian health authorities declared on Saturday that the infection tally has hit 270.029 after 1460 cases were recorded on April 9.
During the same time, there have been 56 deaths, bringing the death toll to 9.235.
Meanwhile, the recovery increased by 1006 to 224 397.
1.985 hospitalisations were recorded on the same date, including 407 in intensive care units and 124 under ventilators in public and private health facilities.
