In a statement given to the tap agency, he revealed that an average of 60 to 70 hospitalizations for bronchiolitis have been registered each month since October 2023 until today, reporting that 80% of patients are less than 3 months old.
According to Daghfous, bronchiolitis attained its peak last December and kept the same rate without falling significantly, which led to overcrowding in intensive care units and hospitals.
