Tunisia-Case against Emna Chargui referred for deliberations

The third criminal division of the Tunis Court of First Instance ruled on Thursday to froward the case of blogger Emna Chargui to the Tunis Court of First Instance on July 13 for deliberation, declared spokesman for the court Deputy Public Prosecutor Mohsen Dali.
The same chamber decided to defer the blogger’s trial to July 2.

On May 2, the 27-year-old blogger shared a picture on Facebook displaying a satirical text utilising codes from a Quranic verse on the COVID-19 pandemic.
