Tunisia- Citizens of Kairouan scream get out against Hichem Mechichi

On the sidelines of his visit to Kairouan to commemorate the battle of Badr, prime minister Hichem Mechichi was badly welcomed by the citizens of this region who chanted protest slogans against him.
Demonstrators rallied near the Okba Ibn Nafaa mosque to express their outrage at the failure of the Saudi hospital’s project in the region.

They claimed their right to development and condemned the blocking of various projects as well as the very high poverty percentage in the region.
