Advisor to the Minister of Health and member of the national vaccination campaign Ines Ayad said that citizens have been convoked to receive the third and even the fourth dose of vaccine, due to their journey to the ‘one of nine countries demanding a certain type of vaccine.
In a statement to a radio station, she pointed out that some nations have not made access to their territory subject to the administration of a type of vaccine, as is the case for Spain which recognizes the Chinese vaccines Sinopharm and Sinovac, while France requires a third dose of another vaccine. Germany, on the other hand, expects two more doses of the vaccine in addition to the doses of the Chinese vaccine.
The Minister of Health has reacted favourably to requests from people who have received doses of the Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccine, enabling them to receive a third dose of vaccine to be able to travel to certain European or American countries, she added.
