The coordinator of the Soumoud coalition, Houssem Hami stressed today that the Sunday protest against the exceptional measures adopted by the President of the Republic, Kais Saied is evidence that we are today in the midst of a period of transition and not in a period of autocratic rule.
Nevertheless, he condemned the measures adopted by the President of the Republic, Kais Saied unilaterally and without consultation with the numerous components of civil society.
Houssem Hami pointed out that the Soumoud coalition does not support Kais Saied but rather supports the events of July 25 which resulted in the activation of article 80 of the constitution.
