In a press conference organized by the Attakatol, Afek Tounes, Al Jomhouri, and the Democratic Current, the general secretary of the party Al Jomhouri Issam Chebbi considered that the decree 117 is a provisional organization of the public powers, in opposition with the provisions of 2014 which is “the constitution of the revolution”.
He called on the President of the Republic to organize a national dialogue accompanied by a referendum far from any foreign interference. Chebbi, in the same vein, emphasised that the Head of State must reverse the measures announced in Presidential Decree 117 and find solutions while upholding the powers granted to him by the constitution of 2014.
