Tunisia-Compulsory confinement for passengers from February 1

The Ministry of Health declared this Monday, January 25, 2021, the maintenance of the suspension of flights with the United Kingdom, Brazil and South Africa.

The list of nations affected by this measure will be regularly updated and may involve other countries, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of Transport, added the Department of Health .

For the moment and for passengers must present a negative PCR test, carried out within 72 hours of boarding.

They must likewise spend seven days in confinement in specialized centres, at their expense. They are accordingly also called upon to present the “confirmation” for a reservation when checking in.

After seven days, a second PCR test is to be carried out, at the expense of the traveller, so that they can leave the containment center.

Exceptional authorizations will be given by the Mandatory Containment Commission under the Ministry of Health, according to the press release which specifies that all the aforementioned measures come into force, from Monday, February 1, 2021.
